After two days of sunshine, clouds hung over the Texan city of Austin, although at no time there was any danger of rain, only the temperature fell a bit as Argiñano-Ginés rider Alberto Moncayo ended the morning warmup in 24th position.

Unfortunately it didn’t work out for him in the race as he had a problem with the brake lever all weekend which caused him to lose confidence and finally come back into the pits before the end of the race.

The next race will be in Spain and Moncayo knows his home circuit of Jerez well. At the first European round of the season the team will also present the new hospitality and team members.

Alberto Moncayo: “The brake lever has again come down and it didn’t give me the confidence to finish the race. I could not ride behind others not knowing if I would crash into them or not. In the first four laps it was very close in almost every corner. I take away the good work from Friday and Saturday, which is the positive thing of this weekend.”
