No points for Cardus at home but happy to finish the race after being tangled up in crash

Cardus CatalunyaOpposite side of the spectrum for the four NGM Mobile Forward Racing and their SpeedUp bike at Montmelo. Great results for Corsi and Pasini who make a fantastic comeback finishing in tenth and eleventh place, with both riders in the points. Teammate Alex De Angelis was less fortunate, forced to retire after crashing on lap seven. Complicated race also or Ricky Cardús, involved in a crash with Simeon, but rejoined the race and finished in twenty-third place.

Ricky Cardus “It has been a rather strange weekend, good in some ways and negative in others. We have worked well, throughout the sessions I have always ridden alone trying to ride in my own style and maintaining the concentration. I had a good pace and could have finished in the points today, but didn’t manage to get in a fast lap time. I had a good start of the race, got in Corsi´s group and push as hard as I could. Out of nowhere Simeon crashed in front of me and made me slide out. I got back up and rejoined the race, it was important for me, for the team and for the sponsors that I finish the race. It allowed me to improve the feeling with the bike and acquire more racing experience in the championship, which I have little of. We need to keep working in this direction and I believe that at Assen and in Germany we will do better.”
