 In Moto2, News

After a promising opening day, the two SWISS INNOVATIVE INVESTORS KTM team’s riders were eager to confirm their pace in qualifying this Saturday at the French Grand Prix.

Iker Lecuona, who crashed during the final practice session, did not manage to move his KTM up to the front. The Spaniard was 1.2 seconds off the pole position and will have to start from the seventh row.

The Moto2 race of the fifth round of the season in France will start at 12:20 on Sunday.

Iker Lecuona (20th – 1’37.485):

“I crashed this morning, but it’s my fault. I took a little too much angle and lost the front. It’s a shame, because I had a good feeling with the bike while it was more complicated during qualifying. I set my best time in my first run. Then I couldn’t progress, I had no grip.”
