British GP: 125cc Quotes after race

4th Sergio Gadea
“I am happy, to tell the truth. I hoped for a podium, but it wasn’t to be and this is a good result in any case. I started strong but on the first lap I nearly crashed a couple of times. It was a pity that conditions were so windy, because normal conditions would have seen us do much better. I had a lot of fun in the race, but I was riding on the edge despite everything that was going on around me. With eight laps to go I stagnated a bit, losing grip. That made me take the decision not to take any risks, and the decision paid off. We were back at the front after the result from Catalunya, and that makes me feel stronger heading to Assen.”

22nd Pere Tutusaus
“I am very disappointed with 22nd, because it wasn’t what I wanted and I think that I could have done more. I never felt comfortable with the bike and know that we can improve further with the bike. In the race I started really well, but there was a crash at the start that put my chances in danger. Now my goal is to be in the points over the next few races.”

Gábor Talmacsi (crash)
“I tried to push hard from the beginning, but I did not have enough confidence in the front wheel of the Aprilia, it felt too light. During the time that I was on the track, it always reacted very much on the wind from the outside of the curve. I tried to remain calm and simply trail the group, but at the end of the slope, in curve 4, I got hit by a gust of wind and couldn’t control the bike anymore. I believe that it was not my fault, because I rode quite comfortably and safe. I suppose that the reason of this bad result has been the wind, because throughout the weekend we have been very competitive. I am disappointed, because the championship is now more complicated, but I do not surrender easily and will give my best in the next race.”
