Indianapolis GP: Quotes after 125cc QP2

 In News

16th Gábor Talmacsi: 1.52.170 (12 laps)
“I was in quite a lot of pain in both sessions. I’m finding it hard to turn the bike and I lose more and more time with every lap. Because of that I lost the front coming through the chicane, although luckily I escaped without any further injury. The injection they gave me at lunchtime to deal with the pain worked well but when you want to ride on the limit you need all your strength and feeling. I wasn’t able to do any practice starts so I honestly don’t know how the race will work out. It is going to be a tough one and we need a bit of luck on our side.”

23rd Sergio Gadea: 1.53,140 (14 laps)
“This is our worst qualifying performance of the season and I honestly didn’t expect to be this far down. I just can’t seem to get a good feeling with the Aprilia and I’m losing a lot of time through the corners. We are going to have to radically change the set-up of the bike and see if we can improve tomorrow. A wet race could be favourable for us because I felt much more comfortable yesterday. The engine is working well but we have problems in the cycle part.”

25th Patrick Jacobsen: 1.53.209 (13 laps)
“I’m really happy because we’ve worked well on the dry track. I tried my best out there and the results are coming. My objective was to push hard and learn as much as I could and I think I’m achieving that. I went wide in turn two, partly because of the wind, and lost the front end. I got back up but there was no time for more. I’m happy with the job we’ve done and with my grid position. I’m looking forward to a fun race tomorrow and I want to keep learning. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even get a good result.”
