Miguel Oliveira takes first CEV win at Jerez

 In JuniorGP

A sensational day of racing took place at the Jerez circuit yesterday as the third round of the 2010 CEV Buckler was attended by more than 16,000 spectators.

In the 125GP class, Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira secured his first victory in the CEV after finishing second on five previous occasions. Alex Rins placed second, thus proving that his victory at Montmeló was no fleeting success, whilst third was taken by Maverick Viñales who started from pole but had to mount a stirring comeback from last place after his Aprilia stalled when the lights went out. With victory Oliveira took the leadership of the Championship, eight points ahead of Viñales and 10 in front of Rins.
