Catalunya GP: FP1 Results MotoGP

Jorge Lorenzo ended the first practice session of the weekend as fastest, followed closely by Casey Stoner and fellow countryman Dani Pedrosa.
Aleix Espargaro again had a good practice, finishing in 6th while Alvaro Bautista spent most of the session in Top 5 and Top 10 positions, but after a crash early on didn’t manage to improve his laptime and was relegated to 12th in the last minutes of the practice.
Hector Barbera didn’t quite get to grips with the circuit yet, finishing in 15th, only ahead of the Japanese replacement riders for Rossi and Aoyama.

However, laptimes are very close throughout and we should see an interesting qualifying tomorrow.
