Worsened condition keeps Terol from participation in first practice session

 In News

Nico Terol arrived yesterday at noon at the Sachsenring, to participate in the German GP. But, as a result of the trip, he suffered increased pains to him in the lumbar area after his recent fracture of the lumbar vertebrae L1 and L2. He visited the Clinica Mobile where they injected anti-inflammatory medicine and a tranquilizer to help him deal with the constant pain. He was later treated with electro-therapy and several exercises to improving mobility.

After the treatment he went to the hotel to rest but during the night he was unable to sleep due to constant pain. He went back to the Clinica Mobile this morning where his treatment with tranquilizers and anti-inflammatories medication continued. He also received some neuromuscular treatment and some help improve the mobility. But despite all this, at the moment Nico still moves with a lot of difficulty which is why he wasn’t able to participate in the first practice of the German GP. He will be kept under the surveillance of the Clinica Mobile for the rest of the day and tomorrow they will make a definite decision if he’s able to ride or not.

Nico Terol: “To be honest I hoped to be much better and be able to practice today, but I’ve had a really bad night. Yesterday when I arrived at the track I noticed that something wasn’t right, I had a lot of pain. So I went to the Clinica Mobile where I did some mobilitiy exercises. I thought that it would improve, but when I arrived at the hotel and I lay down I began to feel very strong pain, so I have not been able to sleep all night. I couldn’t even get out of bed. At the moment I will spend the day in the Clinica Mobile and hope to improve and be able to do the sessions tomorrow. At the moment everything is in the air because my mobility is very reduced”.
