Ricky Cardus still learning brandnew track

The Maquinza SAG Team did a good job today at the Misano circuit for the beginning of the San Marino Gp at Riviera of Rimini.

Ricky Cardús did his firsts laps at the San Marino track in the first free practices of the 12th round of MotoGP. Ricky finished in 32nd position of the classification scoring his best lap of 1’42.261, 2 seconds from the head, but his main goal is to have a distance of 1 second from the first classified. With his first kilometers done at Misano, Ricky affirms that he can improve and make the distance to his opponents shorter but to do it he has to keep working in the same direction. The feelings of the rider for the Maquinza SAG Team on his Bimota were good and ensures that this GP will be positive for the team.

“Misano’s circuit is really interesting, I like it a lot because it has a lot of corners so there are a lot of position changes on the bike. At these first free practices we have been trying different tires compounds and also different settings on the suspension. I am keeping our job direction like I finish in Indianapolis, with that I don’t lose too much time at the track and I keep a constant pace lap by lap and if I improve that pace we can be fast do a great race.”
