Carole Nash Motorcycle Live is proving a big attraction to some of the biggest names in motorcycling – not only have over 30 major manufacturers signed up, but several MotoGP stars will make an appearance, including Alvaro Bautista and world champion Jorge Lorenzo, who will open the nine-day event.

Jorge Lorenzo – who will attend courtesy of X-Lite helmets – will appear on Saturday 27 November to meet and greet fans, feature in the traditional Question of Bikes feature with Steve Parrish and participate in James Whitham’s MotoGP clinic. Lorenzo is the first in a long line of racing stars confirmed to appear throughout the Event, keeping the autograph hunters well and truly on their toes.

Finlay McAllan, Managing Director of organisers MCI Exhibitions: “It is a huge honour to have Jorge Lorenzo – his presence will kick off proceedings with a bang and it really confirms that we are back on the world stage. The support of the racing stars is hugely important to the success of the event and to have such a strong line-up already confirmed is very exciting.”

Alvaro Bautista will arrive on Tuesday, 30th November, as a guest of Suzuki. Set to attend the new-look show for ‘Suzuki Tuesday’ only, the Spanish MotoGP ace will join Suzuki fans on the stand during the day, while taking part in main stage activities too.

Suzuki GB marketing manager, George Cheeseman, commented: “We are delighted to welcome Alvaro to Motorcycle Live. With his impressive debut in MotoGP in 2010, he’s picked up a real following from UK fans and so we expect our stand to be swamped on the day.”

Bautista and fellow MotoGP rider Randy De Puniet will take part in a Question of Bikes with Steve Parrish as well as getting involved in James Whitham’s MotoGP clinic, giving a fascinating insight into the highs and lows of life as a professional racer.

Parrish and Whitham’s features will take place daily on the Black Horse Stage in the all-new Arai Entertainment Zone, where visitors will be kept amused with back-to-back quiz shows, competitions, rider chats and much more, all day, every day. A whole host of star guests and celebrity bikers will be stopping by and visitors will have the chance to scoop some very special prizes.

On the final Sunday (5 December), the Black Horse Stage will host the Riders for Health Champions’ Auction. Memorabilia signed by the racing champions of the past and present will be up for grabs – all in aid of a very worthy cause.

Carole Nash Motorcycle Live runs from 27 November – 5 December 2010. Tickets are £15 in advance for adults, £10 for Seniors, £5 for children aged 11-16 – kids under 10 go free. For more information, log-on to www.motorcyclelive.co.uk
