Aleix Espargaro joins first Granollers duathlon held at Catalunya Circuit

New 40 Tenerife Pons Moto2 rider Aleix Espargaro continued with a very diverse off-season training by taking part in the first Granollers duathlon held on the Catalunya Circuit yesterday, joining over 300 fellow athletes.

The duathlon consisted of 5 kilometers of running, followed by 19 kilometers of cycling and another 2,5 kilometers of running.
Granollers natived Espargaró finished the competition 7th in his age group with a final time of 1:15:12, obviously having a lot of fun despite the cold temperatures.
