Julian Simon honoured for Moto2 achievements at FCMM Gala

Julian Simon was one of the star attendees and honoured racers at the annual Premios de Velocidad y Campeonato de Turismo 2010 of the Federación Castellano-Manchega de Motociclismo (FCMM) taking place in Albacete on Saturday evening. The former 125cc world champion received an award for his second place in the inaugural Moto2 championship last year.

Several other local racers were honoured during the evening as well as the Albacete circuit for the hosting of the Trofeo Velocidad de Resistencia, the Copa Promoción de Supersport, Copa Promoción de Extreme, Copa Castilla La Mancha en Extreme and the Supersport Championship.

Simon will be back on track with his fellow Moto2 competitors next month at the official IRTA test in Jerez, taking place from March 4th to 6th.
