New livery for Luis Salom for team’s home Grand Prix

Luis Salom will start the Iveco Dutch TT in green and white, the colors of insurancecompany TVM. For its home race RW Racing GP signed a sponsor contract with the Dutch company that is based in Hoogeveen, not far from Assen.

,,We are working on next season already,’’ explained RW Racing GP-owner Roelof Waninge in Assen at the press conference for the Dutch TT. ,,For now TVM’s sponsorship is for this single occasion, but when it suits both TVM as RW Racing GP, it might be a solid base to continue in 2012. For Dutch motorsports this sponsordeal is a very important and positive impulse. TVM is a well known sponsor in sports in Holland, for example in speedskating.’’

Waninge announced in Assen he will subscribe a two rider team for the new Moto3 in 2012. It was too early to name the riders. ,,But I can tell we would really like to continue with Luis. We are very pleased with him as a rider. He fits in the team perfectly and the results are good.’’ The Spaniard himself is happy as well. ,,This team feels like my family.’’
With 22 points Salom now is in 11th spot in the 125cc championship, with three top 10 finishes. In two races he crashed out while fighting within the top 10 as well.
