Pedrosa confirmed to make his MotoGP return at Mugello
Dani Pedrosa confirmed today in his newest Blog post for Repsol that he will finally return to action at Mugello this weekend. Acording to Pedrosa things have improved “dramatically” since his latest surgery to fix a small bone fragment. Below is the full translation of his Blog entry.
Hello everyone,
It’s been weeks that I wanted to write the blog to tell you that I return to competition and now finally I can do it. These weeks have been difficult, but I knew I had to focus on the recovery to return to ride the bike in the best possible condition. As I said last week Mugello was the goal and it is the only thing I think of right now.
I’m going to Italy eager to ride the bike, see what feeling I have and to compete. In addition to riding the bike I really want to see the whole team again, work with them and try to make things right. At the end of the day we are like a family. They’re sorely missed in such a long time without competing.
In terms of recovery things really have improved dramatically since I had surgery. We seem to have found the issue and the good feelings that I had during the days following the operation have been confirmed during this last week. Now I need to see what feeling I have on the bike during a race.
Mugello is not an easy circuit. Physically it is very demanding, so for us it will be more complicated of course.
In this important week I don’t want forget you all. You have been supporting me all this time even stronger than when I am competing and that moves me in a very special way.
A hug for all. I’ll see you at Mugello! Dani
