Vazquez just loses out on Mugello podium after tight battle to the line

Efren Vazquez had a tough fight for the third position in today’s race at Mugello, battling with his countrymen Maverick Vinales and Hector Faubel. The revelation of the season Vinales was able to beat Vazquez to the line by 0,112 seconds.

Vazquez was naturally sad after losing the podium position, but kept the overall situation in his mind. He is clearly improving when riding on a dry track.

Efren Vazquez: “I was fourth in the race and in the qualifying and second fastest in the morning warmup, so I was able to show my potential here in Mugello. At the end of the race three riders were playing with same cards and Maverick got the biggest number”

Vazquez is sixth in the championship with 90 points.
