Cardus improves his speed in Brno race and battles to 22nd
With better lap times and better final results, QMMF Racing Team riders Ricky Cardús and Mishal Al-Naimi ended the Czech Grand Prix in Brno on a higher and more encouraging note. Ricky Cardús fought with other riders throughout the race, and even though he found it difficult to maintain his flow and rhythm with slower riders around him, he also managed to score his best laptime of the weekend on the way to 22nd place.
Ricky Cardús – 22º: “I started very motivated, but unfortunately I lost a little bit of my rhythm, party my fault and partly because other riders held me up. It was hard to lose the slower riders and at one moment I had to slam on the brakes because someone crashed in front of me and it cost me a few seconds. But I won’t look for excuses, we had the main problem that we always have, we need to qualify better. I did my best lap of the weekend in the race.”
