Vazquez to start from second row and sure of good race pace

Efren Vazquez was the fastest rider of the Avant-AirAsia-Ajo Team during qualifying for the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang, finishing the session in fourth position. Nicolas Terol, who leads the championship by 25 points, took the pole position at the long and wide track with a time of 2.13’579, Vazquez finished with a gap of 1.002 seconds to him.

He will start tomorrow’s race from the second row, confident of the good race pace he showed all weekend and ready for the exhausting laps in the Malaysian heat.

Efren Vazquez: “I’ve had a good pace throughout the whole weekend. We will only do some minor adjustments for the bike’s suspension before the race.”
