The second day of testing at the Jerez circuit started cloudy and with the track at a low temperature. The riders of the two categories were waiting for the sun to heat the asphalt and at 11AM there was still no rider on track.

Ángel Rodríguez improved his time from yesterday by two tenths in the 40 laps he’s done today. An engine change and the sudden rain that appeared in the afternoon have completely altered the plans that the SAG Team had prepared for Rodri to continue to evolve. Despite the effective work of the technicians he didn’t have enough time today to ride and finish the second day of testing on a positive note.

ANGEL RODRÍGUEZ (SAG TEAM // FTR), 40 laps, 1’43.6:
“We had several problems today that kept me from riding enough. We had to change the engine at the start of the day and when I could go out on the track it has started to rain, which kept me in the pits even longer. Anyway, I’m happy because I think we are doing really well, considering we are running a standard engine, but I notice that I haven’t reached 100% physically and mentally yet. I want to thank the team which faced today’s mishaps reacting quickly and correctly.”
