Dani Pedrosa busy with physical preparation for second Malaysia test [Blog]
Dani Pedrosa has published his latest Blog entry for Repsol, talking a bit about his training ahead of the upcoming second test at Malaysia next week and the official team presentation which will take place on Saturday, 3rd March, at 20.00 during the fourth round of the FIM X-Trial World Championship at the Palacio de Deportes de la Comunidad de Madrid.
Less than week before the tests in Malaysia, working with the team and getting on my bike again. Time is flying past but I am continuing with my physical preparation for the next practice sessions in Sepang.
I am making the most of these last few days to get as fit as possible and to recharge my batteries as much as I can for the tests in Malaysia, which are very important if we are to carry on improving the bike. Here in Switzerland the temperature is a bit better and it is nowhere as cold as it was a few of weeks ago so I have been able to train on my bicycle on a couple of days. You already know that I love my bike and I train on it whenever it is possible.
The truth is that with very low temperatures it is impossible to train on the bike, so now that the temperature is higher I have got on it with more enthusiasm than ever.
We will travel to Malaysia on Saturday. This year we have decided to travel a day earlier than last year so as to avoid the jet lag affecting the practice so much. As I have mentioned before the worst of the jet-lag usually comes on the second or third day after arriving.
After the practice in Malaysia we have the presentation of the Repsol team. And it coincides with the Indoor Trial in Madrid. The truth is that it is a very special moment every season because it is the first contact with Spanish fans before the start of the World Championship.
Next week I will be able to tell you all about our arrival in Malaysia and how things are going.
Regards to you all
Dani
