Race to forget for Rodriguez in France

 In Moto2, News

The Monster Energy Grand Prix de France ended with bad weather and results for the Desguaces La Torre – SAG Team, as Swiss rider Marco Colandrea finished 19th and outside the points while Spaniard Ángel Rodríguez crashed out after losing control of the rear end of his Bimota in a race which was marked by the rain.

Ángel Rodríguez crashed out already in the second lap and unfortunately destroyed the clutch lever in the process, losing all chances to rejoin the race. It’s a bad result which Rodri wants to forget quickly to fully focus on the race at Catalunya, a track which he knows perfectly well and already gave him many successes in the past.

ÁNGEL RODRÍGUEZ (DESGUACES LA TORRE SAG TEAM // BIMOTA)
“It’s a Grand Prix to forget, we started very well and I ended up crashing not sure why, because when checking the telemetry data we saw that at that point of the circuit I opened the throttle the same way as I did in the warm up. From France we leave empty-handed, but in Montmelo it’ll be different, because I have very good memories of this track and I hope that the next Grand Prix will be my turning point of this season.”
