Lack of rear grip and problems on front end leave Silva disappointed with performance

It’s not been a good Grand Prix for Avintia Blusens, although one could get a glimpse of the true potential of the team by looking at the pace Yonny Hernández achieved in the race. Less chances had his teamate Iván Silva who battled with a lack of rear grip throughout the race and also with some problems at the front. The start of this season has been tough for Ivan who hasn’t yet been able to find the necessary setting to show his potential.

22 Iván Silva (20º + 1’41.888): “I’m sad, because I expected to do well in this Grand Prix, but during practice I’ve realized that it would be difficult. We had problems with the front and although we’ve progressed and improved it wasn’t enough to ride with confidence. Today the bike didn’t have any grip on the rear and it was an ordeal. I hope in the test we can solve all of these issues and that we can go to the next round with the possibility to do well.”
