Barbera disappointed about lost day after return to racing
The tricky weather conditions hampered the first day of free practices at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli, especially for Héctor Barberà, who returned to the track after the his six-week absence.
Neither of todays free practice sessions were either completely wet or completely dry, and Héctor, along with the Pramac Racing Team, decided not to head out on track in order to avoid taking risks following his recent injury.
For tomorrow the Pramac Racing crew hope for sunny weather to re-start their work with Héctor and to achieve a good grid position for Sundays race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.
Héctor Barberà I’m a little bit disappointed by the loss of a day due to the challenging and unpredictable weather conditions. I feel good and I’m eager to get back on the track after the six-week of absence. Unfortunately, today the track was damp and cold and I preferred to wait in the box for a good change in the weather (that did not arrive), like more than half of the MotoGP riders. Obviously I’m not happy about it, but we will look forward to tomorrow, hoping for a track that is either completely dry or completely wet.
