Rosell gradually gaining speed and ready to battle in only second race with new bike

QMMF Racing Team rider Elena Rosel developed more and more momentum as practice went on today at Misano. After completing the difficult task of learning a new track on a new bike in treacherous conditions of day one, she went faster with every lap in dry conditions on day two and now feels ready to put up a fight with other riders in the race.

Elena Rosell – 31st in 1.42,102 “After the difficult and wet conditions yesterday, it was good to have a dry day and to be able to learn more about the track and the bike in better conditions. In free practice this morning, I went better already even though the track was still a little bit dirty in places. The conditions were fine in qualifying and I improved consistently and managed to reduce the gap to the top riders to a margin of 3.8 seconds which I can be satisfied with. I want to put up a fight and battle with some other riders tomorrow. It is only my second race on this bike and we certainly don’t have a lot of experience, but once we have more time to understand how it works, we should be more competitive. I am looking forward to the next Grand Prix at Aragón where I know the track and where I can concentrate just on the bike!”
