Bautista satisfied with test programme so far despite limited track time

 In MotoGP, News

As expected, the rain was the main protagonist of the second day of testing at Valencia. Only in the afternoon the rain has finally let up and when the track started to dry Alvaro Bautista was able to get on track. After just five laps yesterday, with the fastest time and the media presentation for title sponsor Go & Fun, today Alvaro racked up 25 laps, posting the fifth fastest time. Of course the track conditions were not ideal to carry out all the planned work, but the team still found some conclusions that will be useful in the next test to be held in Sepang from November 26th to 28th.

Alvaro Bautista (5° 1’33″109)” We could unfortunately only use the last two hours of the afternoon to work on the planned program. However, even though the track was not in the best conditions, we were able to make some comparisons between the bike from this year and a second bike with some parts planned for 2013, which will be useful in the next test that we have along with other Honda riders on November 26th to 28th. We only had little time, but the work that we did was definitely useful. Of course we did not go out trying to set the fastest time, because we had something else to think about. We are satisfied and confident for the next test.”
