Salom takes another front row start

The thousands of fans who flocked to Jerez this morning enjoyed an entertaining Moto3 qualifying session which saw Luis Salom take a place on the front row of the grid. The Spaniard will start from third for the third time this year. His teammates on the Red Bull KTM Ajo team, Zulfahmi Khairuddin and Arthur Sissis, will take off from eleventh and fourteenth place, respectively.

“We go into the race tomorrow in a good situation. In the end, all the work we’ve been doing so far has been good. We know we have to keep improving a little with the front of the bike, but the team is working very well. Tomorrow the issues will be resolved. The race will be very difficult, but I think we’ll be up there.”
