Cardus to start from 23rd at Assen but optimistic for good group battle
After another mixed day at the Dutch Grand Prix in Assen it was a good feeling for all NGM Mobile Forward riders with their SpeedUp bikes. They all look forward to knowing what the weather conditions will be like for tomorrow’s race.
Ricky Cardus “It has been a rather strange day: in the morning it rained and in the afternoon the track dried out. I went out on track for qualifying feeling really nervous and I was not able to ride the way I wanted. I wanted to do my fast lap right away but was only able to do it at the very end of the session. I will start from the twenty-third position in the starting grid, but the gap with the pole is only of 1.1 seconds, we are all really close in terms of our lap times. We have to focus during warm up tomorrow to be ready to do a good race and make no mistakes.”
