This weekend the Moto3 world championship arrives in Germany. Team Calvo continues to fight for the championship with their rider Maverick Viñales, and at the Sachsenring circuit rider and team will continue to give their best to win.

In Holland they narrowly missed the 3rd win of the season, but more importantly Maverick has been on the podium at every race this year and every time he fights for first place. At Sachsenring, a circuit he really likes, he hopes to be triumphant again.

Ana Carrasco arrives at yet another circuit completely unknown to her, but as she’s already proven, she adapts very quickly and at the Sachsenring she hopes to be able to continue to learn and grow in the championship.

The German GP is the last before the summer break for Moto3 (the MotoGP class still has Laguna Seca on July 21st), the championship will return to action on 18th August in Indianapolis.

Sachsenring is a circuit that I like a lot even though I have positive as well as negative memories. Last year I had some problems during the weekend, but this season it’s different. The team and myself are working at the maximum at every race, we’re giving 200%, and after Assen, where we missed the win by very little, we arrive in Germany very motivated. The weather will be an unknown again, but in Assen we rode very fast in the wet, so that would not be a problem.

Like always I’m looking very much forward to getting back on the bike and to finding out how I like the circuit. I hope the weather will be on our side and not rain because it seems to be normal that it rains one day just like in Assen. This circuit is one of the shortest but as always I expect it to be very different from what I’ve seen on the Playstation. My goal is to get a good result to go into the break with a good feeling. Each time we go faster but in the end the race result doesn’t reflect this.

I think achieving a good result before the summer break is very important. The team has been working in a very good way but we have to continue working even harder to keep fighting like this. The prime focus is to finish on the podium like we have done at every race this season, and of course, if everything goes well, we want to be fighting for the win. Ana is learning so much and gaining so much valuable experience. I believe the Sachsenring will be a circuit that fits her riding style very well.
