Barbera aiming to close gap to rivals at Indianapolis

The world championship returns to the US for the third time this year to get the second part of the season underway.
After enjoying some well deserved days off, Blusens Avintia team travels to the Indianapolis MotoGP with renewed strength and in order to continue to improve in each test.
Barberá, who comes to Indy as second in the CRT standings after his victory at Laguna Seca, will fight to be the best CRT and to shorten the gap to his closest rivals, through hard work and a joint effort by the team.
#8 Héctor Barberá
I get to Indianapolis in great shape and full of energy. This rest has really done me good, allowed me to get my strength back and prepare myself as well as possible to start the second part of the season with maximum energy. At Laguna Seca we achieved a win so I have a good memory racing in America. Last year I was not in Indianapolis because of an injury, but I can’t wait to return to riding here, even though it is a complicated and technical track. The whole team is very motivated and we’re hoping to soon receive more improved parts to take us another step further and closer to the Aprilias.
