It rained last night, and did so copiously over the circuit. In the morning, the rain stopped. But both the Moto3 and the MotoGP class suffered from a very wet track. Only the riders of the Moto2 class could enjoy good track conditions for their third free practice.

Alberto was not able to find his rhythm and his inferiority showed in the 2.5 second difference to the leader Terol. During qualifying he could not improve his performance even though the sun broke through the clouds. This translates into a starting position far down the grid, in position 29.

Sunday’s race will be difficult. The warm up will be fundamental for the AGR rider to try and settle into his rhythm to enable him to fight with dignity and to try and achieve the best possible result.

#17 Alberto Moncayo – 29th place – 1.57.005
“I wanted to get another 2 .5 seconds out of it but I only managed half a second. Everyone is giving it their all, the mechanics and me. But we’re currently at the limit. I have many problems with the front fork. The previous races went well and here, without any pressure, things just don’t seem to fall into place and I have no idea why. We’ll make changes for tomorrow and we’ll see during warm up if we can get something positive out of them. We need to finish this race and regain our confidence.”
