Alex Mariñelarena to rider for Tech3 in Moto2 in 2014

Joining the passionate and highly respected Tech 3 Racing outfit for 2014 will be Spanish rider Alex Mariñelarena, who replaces the outgoing Danny Kent – and will partner German Marcel Schrotter.

Mariñelarena has made five Moto2 starts and he enjoyed a breakthrough result at the Motorland Aragon track last time out when he scored his first World Championship points in 14th.

Impressed by his hunger for success and eagerness to learn and help progress the Mistral 610 project in 2014, the Tech 3 Racing Team is looking forward to working with the 21-year-old, who is currently second in the Spanish CEV Moto2 series with three wins to his credit.
