Barbera just missing out on QP2 and starting from 13th at final round of 2013
FTR’s top qualifier in MotoGP at the Valencian Grand Prix in Cheste is Hector Barbera (Avintia Blusens), the Spaniard starting from 13th on the grid at a circuit where he has celebrated victory in the 125cc and 250cc classes already and where he is now targeting a first CRT win of the season at the last opportunity.
Hector Barbera (13th): “We only missed out on Q2 today by a few tenths of a second so that was disappointing but still we have to be satisfied with thirteenth place. I am the second CRT on the grid and the lap times are close so hopefully we can sign off from a difficult season with our first CRT victory in the final race. It is my home race, I have a lot of fans, family and friends here so it would be a perfect way to cap off the year.”
