Isaac Vinales confirmed in 2014 Team Calvo line-up

Team Calvo have confirmed their participation in the Moto3 championship in the 2014 season. The team of Jaime Fdez-Avilés will continue their trusted partnership with KTM for another year and the riders will be Spaniard Isaac Viñales and Czech rider Jakub Kornfeil.

Both riders have experience in the championship and could be found at the top end of the field in previous seasons, but this will be the first time that they’ll have the technical and personal support to be able to fight for something much bigger.

Precisely this will be the objective for Team Calvo, to make full use of the riders’ abilities and improve their weak points, to enable the team to play a key role in the championship again. The team is all set and ready to go for the two riders to test their KTMs in February.

I’m very happy to be part of the championship winning team with all the material they provided to my cousin Maverick on his way to the title. I’d like to thank Jaime, Calvo and all the team’s sponsors for putting their trust in me this coming season and I hope I’ll do really well. I’m very much looking forward to the season because it’ll be my first year with the winning team and an official KTM. It’s still a little early to set concrete goals, we’ll take it race by race, but in the preseason tests we’ll find out where we stand and where we could get to.
