Video: Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa review the FIM CEV Repsol’s past and present
The Repsol Honda Team riders remember fondly their time in this series, only 4 days before the start of its most international edition.
After the start of the Motorcycling World Championship just 10 days ago in Qatar, this weekend is the turn of the FIM CEV Repsol, which will start the season at the Jerez Circuit. In this series Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa competed not many years ago. And they have many good memories of that phase in this high-level series. A championship where they already met other riders such as Jorge Lorenzo, Alvaro Bautista, Pol Espargaro, Scott Redding or Jonas Folger, among others.
The championship has received for years riders arrived from all around the world and in 2014 the FIM CEV Repsol will be even more international. Two of the eight rounds of the championship will be held outside Spanish soil: the second round of the Championship will be in Le Mans, France –where only the Moto3 riders will compete– and the second-to-last will be in Algarve, Portugal, with all categories, including Superbike, which replaces the old Stock Extreme.
For yet another year, the Championship will offer the opportunity to enjoy the performance of the young talents, who dream to jump to the World Championship in the not-very-far future, following the steps of Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa, the current Repsol Honda Team riders.
