Efren Vazquez ready to fight for another podium this weekend

With their minds set on repeating the good results from Qatar, the SAXOPRINT RTG team and their riders set off to the Wild West.
The second race of the season will be held at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas.

The 5.5 km long track is very entertaining and features a steep climb on which the riders have to overcome a height difference of 40 meters. In total the circuit contains 20 corners and will be raced in a clockwise direction.

After the great result by both riders at the last race, the team and the riders are optimistic going into the weekend and the declared goal is to be racing at the top yet again and bring home points.

I’m very happy about the podium in Qatar. So we’re all fired up for going to Texas and are set for continuing the great work. The team is working perfectly, and even though I didn’t feel comfortable during the training sessions in Qatar, I’m sure we’ll find a good setup for Austin. We’ll give 100% and we want to be fighting for another podium. We’re strong and our mentality has to be that of a winning team.
