After a very good start in Qatar, team Calvo arrives in Austin this week to compete in the second GP of the Moto3 world championship, being staged at the Circuit of the Americas.

Isaac Viñales fought for a top placing in the inaugural race of the season and in the end crossed the finish line in 8th place eventually.
In Austin, he hope to be ables to repeat this and to step another gear up to be fighting for the podium.

The Circuit of the Americas is one of the most technical tracks in the championship with numerous changes of direction paired with sharp braking, therefore finding a good compromise between stability and agility will be the focus for the riders and their technicians.

I’m looking forward to getting back on the bike in Austin to try and solve the little problems we had in Qatar and to try and fight for a podium finish. The truth is, in the first race we finished just two seconds after the fastest and it’s the first time that I finished a race that far at the top. This has given me much confidence going into the second GP. I like the circuit in Austin a lot, but here you really have to control the wear of the tyres, this is very critical.
