Third row start at Jerez for Efren Vazquez, confident of good fight in race
Efren Vazquez will start tomorrow’s Gran Premio bwin de España from seventh place on the grid.
In FP3 Efren was leading the way and set the fastest time. During qualifying, Efren found himself top of the timesheet again for a while but had to let some riders overtake him. In the end he qualified seventh – joining teammate John McPhee on the third row – he is nonetheless confident of putting up a good fight in the race itself.

“Unfortunately this isn’t the best position for tomorrow for the race. I think we could have been faster during qualifying. First row was possible. But we have a good setting and I’m confident that tomorrow we can fight at the top.”
