Efren Vazquez takes maiden pole at Le Mans

Today marked the first ever pole position for Efren Vazquez in his Moto3 career. Throughout qualifying, the Spaniard occupied fourth place, until he could set the fastest time 5 minutes before the end of the session.

Just like yesterday, he was able to improve on his best time again to better the pole time further.

This result was completely in line with the outcome of FP3, where he also topped the time sheet. This is a tremendous achievement and sets the bar high for tomorrow’s race.
