Isaac Viñales looking forward to racing on home soil at Montmelo

The Circuit of Barcelona in Catalonia will be the location this weekend for the seventh race of the MotoGP World Championship and Team Calvo will once again aim to be key players in the Moto3 category.

The weather forecast is very good, even though the temperatures are supposed to be very high which will make it more difficult for the teams to find the ideal setup of their bikes.

Isaac Viñales arrives at his home GP, having achieved a podium position in Le Mans and Mugello, with his eyes firmly fixed on the top step of the podium and the desire to have the hymn played in his honour.

“I’m really looking forward to getting to Montmelo because it’s my home race. All my family and friends are always there to support me and this is another plus point to give you more strength. We go into the weekend having achieved a second place in the last race, we almost had the win in our hands and we’re looking forward to repeat this. We’ve had the bike all sorted since Argentina, we race at home and we have to enjoy ourselves, but also Rins, Márquez and the other Catalan riders will be in top form. On Sunday it’ll be “all in”, but I’ve got my eyes on the podium, especially here at home.”
