Páginas Amarillas HP 40 team presents new team colours at the Circuit of Barcelona

The colour yellow will be the new branding for Viñales and Salom from this weekend onwards.

Following the announcement of the new partnership between Páginas Amarillas and the team of Sito Pons last week, this Thursday saw the team present its new look and the new livery of the Kalex bikes.

Both Viales and Salom arrive at their home GP with extra high motivation. Luis finished the Italian GP eleven days ago in second place, achieving his second podium of the season. He feels relaxed and confident going into the weekend.

For Viñales this GP is his real home race, being from Roses which is only a short drive away from Montmelo, and he is determined to re-join the battle for victory.

“We’ve got four races at home and all of them are special. The podium finish in Mugello at the last race gave us a real boost and confidence to tackle this weekend. Also, last year I achieve the pole here and won the race. This helps even though I’m riding Moto2 instead this year, which is a very competitive category and therefore it’s difficult to predict the outcome this weekend. With regards to the new design, it’s great news that a company like Páginas Amarillas has decided to support our team. I’m very grateful for this decision and we hope we can pay them back with hard work, strength and good results.”

“I’m very much looking forward to racing at home in front of my friends and family, my fan club and the fans in general. This is always a very special weekend for me and I hope I can fight for victory. The new livery is nice. Personally I like yellow and I like the look of my Kalex.
