Efren Vazquez second on Indianapolis grid

With a strong start after the summer break, both riders of the Saxoprint – RTG squad start from good grid positions in today’s race.

With second position on the grid, Efren Vazquez confirmed his strong performance from practice the day before.

Efren missed the pole position by just 0.08 seconds, which went to Jack Miller.

Both Efren and teammate John McPhee have great pace and are always among the top 6. Now hopes lie with a continuation of this for the race itself.
 

Efren Vazquez:
“It was a very good qualifying practice for us and we kept the same level the whole time. We concentrate always and keep pushing at every lap. So I think we will have a good package for tomorrow, but we just need to make a good start and we have to understand did it’s a very long race for the tire and so my physical conditions. I want to give 100% for the race and maybe it will be a podium for the team. “
