Isaac Viñales and Team Calvo make a strong start at Silverstone
Isaac Viñales and Team Calvo have made a strong and promising start on the first day of the British GP weekend at Silverstone.
The Spanish rider positioned himself on top of the timing table with a few mintues to go in the second free practice session.
In the end he finished fourth just 76 thousands behind Brit Danny Kent, the fastest rider on this first day of the British GP.

“We’re happy and it’s not been a bad day for us. But we have to work a bit more on the setup and also improve the pace a bit. There are gusts of wind and this makes it difficult to be consistent, so we have to work tomorrow to try and improve this. It’s all very tight, we finished fourth with virtually no gap to the first and this is strange on such a long circuit. But we’re in a phase of the championship when everyone is in tune with their bikes and this is noticeable as everyone just pushes so hard right from the beginning.”
