Efren Vazquez qualifies 9th at Valencia

Saturday was another strong day’s work at Valencia for Efren Vazquez, who completed the top ten with his tenth place finish.

In this afternoon’s qualifying session it was very important to try and make the best use of any slipstream to secure the front starting spots. Efren eventually finished in 9th place.

Tomorrow’s race will show whether Efren will succeed in securing the third place in the championship.

This place on the grid is not what I expected. We had a good rhythm in the practices. Most importantly, I have a good feeling with the tyre. We need to try something in the warm up to get the best possible setup. I will be fully concentrated on the race.
