Miguel Oliveria makes improvements in Qatar
Friday evening proved positive for the Leopard Racing team in the third and final free practice session for the Qatar Moto2 Grand Prix 2016.
Under the floodlights of the Losail International Circuit, Miguel Oliveira improved his lap times from the first two sessions of yesterday, giving confidence ahead of qualifying.
In the 45 minutes available of FP3, the Portuguese rider headed on track with his Kalex machine after analyzing the data of the long day yesterday.
Miguel has been mainly working to improve his overall race pace while at the same time also working on his riding style, he finished in 17th position with a best time of 2’00.480.
Tomorrow at 18:55 local time (GMT +3) will see the official qualifications that will decide the formation of the grid for the Moto2 Grand Prix of Qatar 2016.

“Another positive day for us, I even improved my time. I felt less at ease on the bike than yesterday, but I’m confident because we have found an important change. We can do more tomorrow to try to have more rear grip.”
