It promises to be a great battle tomorrow for the Leopard Racing team, with its three riders pledging themselves to recover and get a good result after a difficult round of qualifying practice at the Gran Premio Movistar de Aragon – not least the recovering Joan Mir, on his way back to fitness from a bout of illness.

With most of his fever gone, Joan Mir put his wheels on the track this morning for the first time over the weekend, having missed yesterday with sickness. Eleventh overall in FP3, Qualifying probed more difficult and he was unable to advance past 27th spot.

The rookie of Palma de Mallorca is accustomed to big comebacks, tomorrow he will have to let everyone see the special feeling he has with the 5.1 km of Aragon.

Tomorrow at 8:40 Warm Up will begin: a preview of the fourteenth race of the 2016 season that will start at 11:00 o’clock.

#36 Joan MIR – 27th (1’59.795):
“I’m not at 100% fitness. This morning we did a good job and I adjusted well to the circumstances, finishing in 11th place. Qualifying did not go well: I could not complete a lap as I wanted, taking the checkered flag at the end. Tomorrow I must first try to recover my fitness for this circuit that I really like.”
