From Sunday’s blurred podium for a crash to the first career pole position in Moto2, this is the week of the Andalucia GP for Marco Bezzecchi today unbeatable in Jerez de la Frontera.

Fast already in yesterday’s free practices and incisive also on the race pace, Marco impressed in qualifying thanks to an excellent 1’41.728 that allows him to keep the first of his opponents at 37 thousandths of a gap (Lowes, 1’41.765) and to start for tomorrow’s race in front of everyone.

Goal centered also for Luca Marini who, strong of a great rhythm on the long run, conquers the fifth box of the grid and the second row thanks to a best lap time of 1’41.882.

Luca Marini
It was a good qualifying: I had good feelings and a lot of fun. The conditions were difficult and we signed much higher times than I could have expected. The second row in qualifying is always the goal for the race, it will be important to have a great start and try to push immediately. I have a good pace and Marco who made pole today too. Congratulations to him, we are doing a good team work, we are both very competitive and tomorrow will be a good fight for the podium and maybe the victory between us.

I’m very happy: after the crash on Sunday, this is really cool! It was tough, today it’s much hotter than last week and I was struggling. As soon as I got on the track, I was able to be fast and I made my fastest lap. Then I tried to stay with Luca for improving myself again, but the tire was very hot and the bike was slipping a lot. I can’t wait to get back on track for the race.
