4th and 6th place for Marini and Bezzecchi at Brno
Top 6 with both riders, this is the result of the Sky Racing Team VR46 at the end of the Czech GP in Brno. After a good recovery, Luca hits the fourth place while Marco Bezzecchi is sixth to the finishing line.
Tenth at the start, Luca immediately took the pace of the strongest guys to move up the rankings. Fourth at 10 laps to the checkered flag, he managed the gap in the final stages of the race confirming the positions recovered. With today’s result he is second in the standings with 58 points.
Great start for Marco too, close to the podium in the initial stages and forced to raise the pace due to the tire consumption.
Luca Marini:
I had good start, the podium was close, but starting from the tenth position it was not easy to move up the rankings. I was expecting a faster pace, but despite this I struggled to manage the tire in the final laps. I tried to overtake Roberts, but I was on the limit and I didn’t want to crash For Austria, the goal is to stay focused on qualifying.
Marco Bezzecchi:
It was a very difficult, tough race but I was expecting different tire consumption. I had a good start, but I didn’t want to push at 100% from the beginning, I tried to stay calm to manage the consumptions, but the tire started to drop anyway. I climbed up to the fourth place, the first three were really fast, but I was struggling with the front and Luca and Fernandez have overtaken me. I fought with them and ended in P6. The Team did a great job and the goal is to get back as fast as in Jerez for Austria.
