The sad news of the loss of the Swiss Moto3 rider Jason Dupasquier marked today’s day at the Mugello Circuit. Bo Bendsneyder finished in P15 while Tom Lüthi did not participate in the sixth round of the year to head to the hospital to be with the family of his friend Dupasquier.

The sixth race of the 2021 season was marked by the loss of young rider Jason Dupasquier. Tom Lüthi, a friend of the Swiss rider, decided early in the morning not to participate in neither the warm up nor the race at Mugello in order to head to the Florence Hospital to be with Jason’s family.

Bo Bendsneyder came out into the race in low spirits in these difficult times and crossed the finish line in 15th position scoring one point.

The Pertamina Mandalika SAG Team would like to extend its deepest condolences to Jason’s family, team and friends at this difficult time.

Bo Bendsneyder

It’s a really sad day for the World Championship family. We lost a great talent and great guy and happy young guy. It’s difficult to talk about the race today because life is more important. Was a difficult race, I struggled a lot. We took one point. We have to look for Barcelona. We did a good test there and the feeling was much better.
