A thrilling race with a double start for a red flag the one just ended in Valencia for the Sky Racing Team VR46 and closed with a good P4 for Celestino Vietti and a P20 for Marco Bezzecchi.
Starting from the second box on the grid, Celestino immediately picked up the pace of the group fighting for the top positions and crossed the finishing line in the slipstream of the riders on the podium then. For Celestino this is the eighth top 10 of the season and means the 12th place in the standings with 89 points.
In the gravel a few meters after the first start, in the pits with the bike seriously damaged and on the track for the second race thanks to the great teamwork of the whole team, Marco was forced to start from the back of the group. He has climbed the rankings up to the P20 and thus confirms the third place in the Championship with 214 points, one victory and 6 podiums.

It was a good race and the podium was so close! I’m happy to have finished with a good result and a great feeling. I had a good start, I tried to keep up the pace of the riders in front of me, maybe I made a few mistakes and I couldn’t maintain the contact. It was not an easy season, but we didn’t give up, we worked hard and we all grew up together. A big THANK YOU to the whole team, to those who will remain, to those who will go with the team in MotoGP. THANK YOU!
Marco Bezzecchi
Not the race I was looking for to end the season and my adventure in Moto2, but thanks to the great work of the whole team I was able to get back on track. They worked all season without respite, they always gave their best and we never gave up, not even today. I am proud to have shared these two years with all of them and to have tried to fight for the Championship that we finish in the third position before starting a new chapter of this beautiful adventure.
