Johann Zarco scores an extraordinary #BritishGP pole position, Jorge Martin to start from 9th

Qualifying day at Silverstone bears the signature of Johann Zarco, who with the incredible time of 1:57.767 takes pole position and the track record.

The French rider shows that he has returned from the summer break very focused and with a very clear objective.
Team mate Jorge Martin also did well, who after an amazing fp3 closed with the second best time ( 1:58.282) was expecting a more convincing result in qualifying. The Spanish rider finished in ninth position with his best time of 1:58.174.

It’s a shame because I was hoping for something more than ninth position, but it’s good anyway. The pace is good and I have a good feeling with the bike. Tomorrow we can have a good race.

Today we showed that we can really do very well tomorrow. It is a track I like a lot where we have great potential.
