Dennis Foggia takes 2nd in #JapaneseGP, DNF for Tatsuki Suzuki
The first of the Asian rounds is done, and it’s been one to remember! A very emotional day, for the Le0pard team.
Dennis Foggia has taken the second step of the podium after battling with rivals for the victory. The Rocket has been wise and clever on the fight and has managed to cross the line the 2nd.
Tatsuki Suzuki, riding at home and having taken pole position, has done a great start and has been fighting for the top positions until a crash that has ended up with his chances. Fortunately, the rider is fine.
After today’s result, Dennis Foggia keeps the 3rd position on the general classification (191 points, 63 far from the leader) and Tatsuki Suzuki the 7th (128 points).
The Le0pard Racing is second on team classification (319 points, 144 from the leader).
Next stop: Buriram, Thailand! See you all there!
Dennis Foggia, 2nd
It’s been one of the most difficult races of the season so far. We’ve had to take care of the temperatures, the level of the battle and all the circumstances. A podium is a great result, and I’m so happy, we’ll keep pushing in Thailand!
Tatsuki Suzuki, N/C
It’s been a real pity, we’ve been fast and felt good throughout the whole weekend and I really wanted to do a nice result at home in front of my crowd. It hasn’t been possible, but we’ve given our best. Many thanks to everybody.
